Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. was an American actor who has a reputation for playing tough, yet vulnerable character. Linney was born into an actor's family, since her father Romulus Linney is a playwright. She graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in 1986. Then she earned an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City. In 1990, she performed on Broadway for the first time in 1990.
